The Color Turning is an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California - emotive and accessible, yet devoid of insincere saccharine. There is a synergy that exists between these five who share, among so much more, a voracious appetite for innovation, change, and growth. They are a band willing to do anything to create sound, never for a moment sacrificing the songs to inaccessible experimentation or “noise for the sake of noise”. With an intense live show, The Color Turning have been known to use so many instruments that they, at times, seem more like a small orchestra than a standard rock five-piece. Their depth, ambience, and wide-ranging instrumentation often aligns them with European bands rather than the American pop punk current.
