The Car Is On Fire (TCIOF) is a band formed in 2002 in Warsaw, Poland. Their music can be described as post-punk / indie rock with influences such as Modest Mouse, The Wrens, Les Savy Fav and last but not least - The Beatles. The band name comes from a Godspeed You! Black Emperor piece, “The Dead Flag Blues”.

Ombarrops! is the third studio album by a polish group named The Car Is on Fire. It was produced by John McEntire (Tortoise, The Sea and Cake, Gastr del Sol) and recorded in Soma Electronic Music Studios in Chicago. Guest appereances are by McEntire himself and Aleksandra Tomaszewska (Aleks and the Drummer).
