The mysterious electro-pop master has an undeniably catchy personal musical style, as can be noticed from his short repertoire of singles- Oh Darling, I Can’t Forget You, and Clone Age.

POPULAR COMPUTERâ„¢ is a duo consisting of Parisian producer Sylvain DALIdo and his computer. The name POPULAR COMPUTER fits this musical persona completely. Sylvain creates an amalgam of pop music and shiny retro-futurist electronic dance, the world he creates is a fantasy of sophistication and technological elegance.

Sylvain began composing as POPULAR COMPUTER in 2002, at first he created straight pop music but electronic elements fell into place, giving his song a technological fantasy angle, of life on the edge, running too fast. Early on, the track “I Can’t Forget You” caught the attention of Tiefschwarz who included the song in their Misch Masch mix compilation.

Following this Sylvain DALIdo and his computer got more exposure via the Kitsune Maison series and his remixes for the likes of Mylo, New Young Pony Club, Hot Chip and Midnight Juggernauts… The recent single “Lost & Found “ is featuring the vocal talents of Pacific! and is backed with remixes by Shinichi Osawa and Sweetlight. It will precede the French producer’s debut “Senso Data”, due in November on Rise Recordings. The album will be available digitally a few weeks earlier.
