Marcy Playground is back with a new fourth album, Leaving Wonderland in a Fit of Rage. They exploded onto the scene back in 1997 with the insanely irresistible hit single "Sex And Candy", a song that notched [a then-record] fifteen consecutive weeks at number one on Billboard's U.S. Modern Rock tracks chart.

Leaving Wonderland in a Fit of Rage is very roots-to-rock retro in some places, and songs like "Gin and Money", "I Burned the Bed", and "Emperor" are some of its saving graces. Singer/guitarist John Wozniak laughingly refers to these tracks as the band's "big rock songs" on this release.

The album itself makes a great soundtrack to a day's activities, overall very laid back with just enough kick to keep you motivated. "Good Times" is a sleeper hit on this one -- by far the most memorable.
