grass widow's debut album is make a mess records' fourth release (after releases by nodzzz, brilliant colors and traditional fools). this all-girl san francisco trio borrows some of the aesthetic and sound from early english post punk bands like the raincoats and au pairs and blends it with their own unique style. grass widow artfully molds anxiety, love, and sturdy musicianship into a mesmerizing shape. limited vinyl only release.
