Space Oddities Vol.1 was last year pretty much at the top of our 2008 'Best Of' chart so when we heard that Permanent Vacation had commissioned Alexis (Tigersushi Bass System) and Jess (Formerly of Jess & Crabbe) to scour the French wilderness for more obscure library, mood music, we got a tad excited to say the least.
A new direction has been chosen for Vol.2 with a more organic, guitar led and psychedelic sound chosen that still focuses on the dancefloor coupled with their love of freaky synths and fierce beats.

After spending the summer of last year choosing the right tracks and managing to get them all cleared they have also managed to convince two of the greatest authorities on library music to write the sleevenotes: Joel Martin (Quiet Village) and Gareth Goddard (Cherrystones/Godsy). (Source)
