The Postman cometh, and he brought me 10 pigments from Scaredy Cat Cosmetics. I learned about Scaredy Cat Cosmetics from AlliesVanity. Here's her video: http...

Yea, noticed a Nov. article to write Mary Kay & tell them that you won't buy their products until they stop funding animal testing.

I was sad when Mary Kay lost their Leaping Bunny Certification....their Facial Highlighting pen was a product I used for over 6 years......haven't really found a true replacement for it.

I've been keeping my eye on some things to see if I actually use them. If I go two weeks or so without using them, I give them away. I don't wear makeup enough to go through product quickly, and I only want to keep things I know I enjoy enough to use.

You're doing great, my dear. I think I'm getting ready to pitch some of the toxic concealer/foundation pile, just b/c it's taking me forever to finish even one product, & there are a bunch more to go through. Grrrr.

I ordered the irish look set from silk naturals today. I just will not allow myself to buy anything other than eyeshadow. I don't need more than one foundation, primer, or concealer and I want to get through some toxic product before I buy more blushes

I probably would have opened a little package, but part of the fun of the sub boxes (o.k., did I mention I'm a nerd?) is researching them & figuring out how to put them into my rotation. It takes a bit of concentrated time. I'm going to reward myself

It was quite exciting to see the sub boxes upon my return. I've been waiting to open the 2 others until I can clear my midterm grading. It will be a little reward.... I do think Belmont is adorable, but then I'm bird-mother partial. My husband thin

We have another bird, and she's much more particular. I definitely wouldn't get her into a flight suit! I might try to see if she'll film with me today.

Yes, the samples are generous, especially when compared with what one generally gets in a baggie. You'll have to film a look using the Scaredy Cats pigments :) I can't wait to try that gorgeous green shade and, of course, the rose gold.

I'm hoping to actually open my Natural Beauty Box today! I've been so darned midterm busy. I have to get all my grades recorded before I can play, & unfortunately, enrollments are sky high, so lots of grading to do & record. RE: travel. Oh, the sun

It's interesting, Brianna, because it's getting harder & harder for me to use my toxic skincare--or even my lightly preserved water-based products. My skin is just so much happier with the routine I have now. I've been trying to give the unopened product

Aren't they the best? I can't believe how cuddly and sweet he is. He is mischievous though, especially when he's trying to eat the camera.

Ooooh, two of them! How fun. Do they get along? We have another bird, a Dusky Conure, K.A.P. K.A.P. & Belmont exist side-by-side (different living spaces) but really don't interact a whole lot; they just kind of tweet at each other now and then.

I might pick a month or two to go on a no-buy, just for the heck of it, the discipline of it. The best time would be September, when I come back from the beach and rediscover all the eyeshadows I left behind for summer. I also have a bunch of cool fa

Thank you, Christine. That bird is my baby (have another who is 16-years old & a wee bit on the cranky side). I'm not sure I could film with her, but maybe I'll try.

I had a fantastic trip, Georgina, but walked into a wall of work upon my return. Poor little Belmont missed me since nobody else keeps him out for hours and hours (he likes to be in the room when I work, & I like his company :) Things are back to nor

La Vie does sound good. Also the DeVita Whipped, which I tried to get a sample of, but they were out so refunded me. It's nice to have so many viable natural options...

I'm such a rose gold fiend. I need to take out all my rose gold pigments & compare them. I know I love Geek Chic Rose Tint My World, which at the moment, is the hands down favorite in that category, but I haven't done a systematic side-by-side. Hmmm,

Hi WB Lovely to find your video. Thank you. I hope you had an enjoyable week away. The SC pigment samples look like great colours. Have you ever tried La Vie Celeste Cream Foundation? I read about it on Truth and Aging and it sounds quite interestin
