A nice little hip-hop number with pop/rock overtones. I toned the bass way, Way down but it will still give your speakers a nice workout. These guys were on the bill for Mean Creek's CD release, hence the balloon sign in the background. Shot with a Zoom Q2HD (tech notes below). I used both my slick but very awkward to use Sony HX9v/Zoom H2n combo as well as my handy-dandy Q2HD during different parts of the entire night. You can't beat the image quality of the Sony in this environment, but you need a separate audio recorder, and I've been using the H2n for that. But I'm now thinking that maybe I should try using the Q2HD for double duty: as a standalone videocam, or as the audio recorder for when using he Sony. Hmmm... In any case, if you want to record a hip-hop show and catch all the bass, now you know what to bring with you.
