Hopes & Dreams December 2011 The main inspiration for this tune was the great feeling of satisfaction developed as a result of an act of integrity demonstrated by my company in support of a strong recommendation/stand made by me as a result of an uncomfortable situation that developed. I recorded the basic tracks first (acoustic guitars, the initial guitar riff that repeats throughout the song, the bass and the rhythm section). I then saved the project waiting for ideas on how to fill the two sections left empty for "voices". About 3 weeks later, my neighbor Justin Uth (two weeks short of his 15th birthday), stopped by and we talked about his musical classes (guitar and piano). He told me he has written some songs and uploaded an acoustic version of one in YouTube. I got the link from him and listened to it. I liked it and I told him I will be willing to help him record the non-acoustic version, if he would like. He accepted and came over. We worked on his song (Weapons of Mass Destruction; not really my style of music, yet I heard good things in it in terms of Justin's guitar playing abilities and musical composition; Justin has a lot of talent and a great passion for music. I am so looking forward to collaborating with him in the future!).
