Laundry for the Apocalypse is the latest band from singer/songwriter, Aaron Sarlo, whose previous bands include the Ardent Records-based, Techno-Squid Eats Parliament, the cult band, Slept, and, most recently, the Mostar Records band, The Dangerous Idiots. This time around, Sarlo has enlisted the help of life-long friend, Adrian Brigman, on electric washboard and percussion, John David Hilliard on keyboards, trumpet, and flute, Matt Rice on bass, and Drew Wilkerson on drums, forming a band as full of talent and creative energy as any before it. Between the band's phenomenal musicianship, the captivating original arrangements, and Sarlo's brilliant lyrics, Laundry for the Apocalypse's debut, self-titled record represents a stunning new artistic direction for Sarlo, and promises to be a record that people will share and talk about. "Laundry for the Apocalypse" is available on Mostar Records. www.mostarrecords.com "There is a variety of sounds and influences here, with songs changing shape and structure from melodic indie pop to aggressive punk and back again...
