Wonderfully Courteous Gentlemen are a three piece electro/alt/rock outfit from Bristol; they mix yer standard rock instrumentation with synths, laptop and who knows what else! The result, it has to be said, is pretty awesome!

'You Can Can' is a wonderfully punchy and sharp edged EP containing four excellent tracks in 'When The Time Comes', 'We'll Be So Happy', 'Breakfall' and 'Dancefloor'; a cutting edge sound that's bold, robust and very fashionable sounding. Wonderfully Courteous Gentlemen are Bridge Williams (poor guitar playing but lovely laptop, synth and Vocals), Dave Colebrook (synth, drum Machine, epic guitar) and Nick Atkins (megadrums) and the three have concocted an extremely intoxicated sound that doesn't exactly blend genre, it collides genre but allows the broken and bruised particulate of the various modern forms to meld and re-join in a signatorial strange brew of vibrant sound, catchy beats and rhythmically reinforced outpourings !

The resultant Wonderfully Courteous Gentlemen's signature sound is one of deep, rich electronics conjoined seamlessly with scathing guitars and militarily precise beats; as commercial as baked beans but at least twice as reactive, the Wonderfully Courteous Gentlemen bang out their massively infectious modernistic wares with near tangible confidence, amazing skill and not a little innovation - their sound is devastatingly hooky and outrageously up-front!

'You Can Can' by Wonderfully Courteous Gentlemen came as quite a surprise; luckily that surprise was an enjoyable one and the fusion of type laid down by these three ingenious guys is pretty remarkable and totally viable. [Source]
