semi-illiterate songs about sex and sickness and the decline of (stupid fucking) western civilization. these are sometimes sung entirely alone with only a guitar, but mostly these days they are accompanied by larger groups of instruments and singers known as the horse museum, which can be as low as two or three others and up to ten or twelve.

our album, 'divorce lawyers i shaved my head,' is being released on june 6th, 2009. three years in the making, it's an epic full band recording of 14 songs (a little over an hour) that tell the story of a failed marriage between two people of confused genders, complete with horses, shotguns, carnival horns, a glandolinian war, male birth, semen, haircuts, sickness, and the end of the world. we are currently accepting pre-orders for the record. pre-orders will include a bonus handmade cd-r that has some demos from 2006 and 2007 of very early versions of some of the songs.
