“Burns, burns, burns…” is registered under four men within a swimming pool. How the paradox is large! And it is all with the image of this album divided between two worlds: the white and black. Not so extreme, sometimes very close, these two universes are however different. There is thepunk one, alternative course, which marks the opening of the opus with “dark Side”, where the song is jerked, the voice incisor, barrels hammered and the sharp skinned tone, with the image in particular of “Under the rain” or the very good “Swimming pool”. Then there is the remainder; rounder, less rough, more worked, more FMisé (“the gods are kings”), more sincere can be (“Burns, burns, burns… ”), lighter (“sad history of Bugs Bunny”), to see more sensual (“Like an ice floe”). The twelve Ci-present tracks mark the alchemy of its two currents, so close, but so different. On a side the dark, that only the holders of the album will know, between mystery and blackness, for punk incisive. Other, the pop-rock'n'roll, thinner, more melody, in which Daniel Darc took part (Roof of duplicity) for very the intimist “to think of it more”. A sometimes punk effort, sometimes pop-rock'n'roll for a schizophrenic album which made well leave its Asyl. (Translate From Rocknfrance)
